OUR STORY
We started where you are
Social Good was born from a simple observation: the organizations doing the most important work in our communities were stuck using the worst tools. Nonprofits, cultural institutions, and civic organizations were stitching together outdated systems that drained their time and limited their reach.
Founded in Salt Lake City as part of Salty Slopes, LLC, we spent years building custom integrations and solutions for Arts and Culture organizations. We saw the same problems everywhere: disconnected ticketing, broken membership flows, manual donation tracking. So we built a platform to solve all of them at once.
Today, Social Good powers 100+ organizations and counting.
We were selected for the 2025 Morgan Stanley Inclusive & Sustainable Ventures global cohort, because what we’re building matters to the world.

Engineer, founder, and 3-time published author. Rick built Social Good to put world-class technology in the hands of every mission-driven organization. A decade building integrations for arts and culture organizations taught him what operators need from their software.
Tim Cooley
Chief Strategy Officer
Author, investor, and entrepreneur with an MBA from the University of Utah. Tim has spent 10+ years raising over $200M in seed and early-stage capital for 100+ companies. Published author of “The Pitch Deck Book” and TEDx speaker.
Allen Roberds
Chief Growth Officer
25+ years in education, training, and coaching – now helping cultural institutions work smarter. Allen previously worked with a global nonprofit focused on sustainable impact in Kenya and spent years as an educator and learning leader.
Julián Gálvez
Director of Engineering
Engineer and architect. Julián directs engineering at Social Good, setting the technical bar that keeps the platform fast, reliable, and ready to scale. Years of shipping systems for integration-heavy businesses gave him an instinct for which bets pay off.
